Terms of Service for Mahallu App

Welcome to Mahallu App (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our mobile application and related services (“Services”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Mahallu App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Mahallu App. If you are under 18, you may use the app only under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

3. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
• Use the app only for lawful purposes (e.g., donations, dues, community management).
• Not misuse the app by attempting fraud, unauthorized access, or disrupting services.

4. Payments & Donations

• Payments made through the app (donations, dues, etc.) are processed via secure third-party gateways (e.g., Razorpay, UPI).
• Once a payment is confirmed, it may be non-refundable, unless required by law or explicitly allowed by your Mahallu/organization.
• We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by banks, UPI, or third-party processors.

5. Community Data & Admin Rights

• Each organization (Mahallu/Account) manages its own users, dues, and donations.
• Admins may access necessary user and transaction information for management purposes.
• We are not liable for decisions made by community admins.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, and features of Mahallu App are owned by us or licensed. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Payment gateway issues.
• Loss of data caused by technical errors or user mistakes.
• Unauthorized use of your account if you share your login credentials.

8. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent/illegal activities.
• You may also request account deletion by contacting support.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of [India/Kerala].

11. Admin Data Correction Policy

If an admin enters incorrect data in the app, certain records such as member details can be edited or deleted. However, transaction records cannot be directly edited or deleted by the admin. To request a correction of any transaction receipt or voucher, please submit the request along with the relevant committee minutes and complete transaction details.
